Cut-ready vinyl templates & wrap designs for drum shells

Drum library

ref spacing drums use lug hole spacing from the Vintage Drum Reference lug table. Everything else is a typical estimate. Measure your shell before cutting.

Shell

Measure the bare shell (wrap and hardware off). Fractions like 11 15/16 work.

Hardware holes

Sets = how many lugs or brackets go around the shell, starting at Start° and repeating every Step° (blank = evenly spaced). All rows share the same 0° reference (e.g. the badge), measured left to right from outside. Each set is a grid of Rows × Cols holes spaced by Pitch Y / X. Lug reference applies a real lug's hole spacing to your lug rows.

Wrap settings

Length = π × (diameter + vinyl thickness) + overlap. Holes inside the overlap are cut through both layers. Only use scale compensation if test cuts come out slightly off.

PDF and SVG are true physical size. SVG keeps cut and dimensions groups, and DXF uses CUT/DIMENSIONS layers. With labels on, a scale-check square is added.

    Layers

Each layer is one vinyl color cut to the full wrap size and stacked in order. The top of the list is the outermost layer.

Each layer cut file includes the wrap outline, the hardware holes and that layer's pattern. Shapes that run past the outline are cut into scrap. The full-color PNG is the whole wrap at true size, ready for printable vinyl.

Everything runs locally in your browser (the 3D preview loads three.js from a CDN). Always test-cut on scrap vinyl first.
